What happens to my waste?
We are a fully licensed waste carrier with the Environment Agency (Registration Number CB/DU222271) We collect your waste in one of our specialised refuse collection vehicles, take it to a waste transfer station where it is processed before being transported to a Waste to Energy Facility. Treatment of waste by the waste to energy process is environmentally preferential to Landfill Disposal in the Waste Hierarchy set out by the DEFRA.
Can I change the date of my monthly payment if I choose the regular service?
Your first payment is taken on the date you sign up. Pay on a recurring basis with payment taken on the same date that you signed up each month. If you wish to change this date then you can do so, please just email binfo@busybins.co.uk with your email address, collection address and a note about the payment date you wish to change to. A small charge or small refund will be calculated on a pro rata basis depending on if you want to bring the payment date forward or move the payment date back.
