Holiday Collection Schedule for 2023

As the holiday season approaches, we want to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones.  At Busy Bins, we understand that the Christmas period brings about changes in routine, and we're here to ensure that your waste management services adapt seamlessly for you. 

Important Changes to Collection Dates

In light of the upcoming holidays, please note that there will be changes to our regular waste collection schedule. We're implementing these adjustments to accommodate the holiday festivities and to ensure that our dedicated team members can also spend time with their loved ones.

To ensure clarity and convenience, we have prepared a detailed table and an easy-to-understand graphic illustrating the changes. These resources will guide you through the revised collection dates, ensuring that you can plan accordingly and avoid any confusion.

Making a Booking 

You can make a Booking anytime online at www.busybins.co.uk and the booking will be confirmed within one working day.

If you wish to ring to make a booking our phone number is 0161 766 3330 and we are open from 9.30am until 3.30pm. We will be closed Sundays as usual, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. The office won't be open on Saturday 30th December but we will be out on this day emptying bins. 

Key Points:

• Adjusted Dates: Our collection schedule will shift to accommodate the Christmas and New Year holidays. Please refer to the enclosed table and graphic for the specific changes.
• Council Collection Changes: We carry out our own schedule over Christmas and do NOT mirror the council so please check your date accordingly. 
• Extra Collections: We understand that this time of year can generate more waste, and we're prepared to manage it effectively.
• One Off Collections Postcode Checker: With the One Off Collections when you pop your postcode in it will provide you with the regular day we are in the area and not the revised day so please refer to this schedule. It's too much admin work to change every single postcode but the email confirmation will display the correct day as this is carried out manually by a member of the team. 
• Junk Removal Services: We will close our Bulky Waste Collection Services from 19th December until the 9th January. 
• Skip Hire Services: We will close our Skip Hire Services from 15th December until the 9th January. 

We kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to the new schedule. This small change on your part plays a significant role in helping us maintain efficient and timely service during the busy festive season.
