Season’s Greetings from Busy Bins!

The festive season is here, and we’re ready to make sure your waste collections continue smoothly during this busy time. While everyone is preparing for celebrations, we’ve updated our schedule to accommodate the holidays and we aim to take care of you over this Busy time. 

Please read all the information below so you don't miss your bin collection. 

Please note that there are two tables below as we have to make different changes for the different council areas we cover. One is for Bury, Rochdale and Salford Councils, the other is for Manchester, Oldham and Bolton Councils 

What You Need to Know

• We follow our own schedule: Please refer to the tables above as our collection dates are not aligned with council schedules.
• One-Off Collections: The postcode checker shows the usual standard day that is correct all other times of the year except for now, but your confirmation email will always display the correct revised collection date as this is carried out manually by a member of the team. Refer to the email confirmation and the correct table below. 
• Extra Waste? No Problem! We’re fully prepared to handle additional collections during this busy period, please just book in advance online or over the phone. 

Service Updates

• Bulky Waste Collections: Paused from 17th Dec to 12th Jan.
• Skip Hire: Unavailable from 18th Dec to 8th Jan.

Holiday Collection Schedule

Here’s a quick look at how our collection days will change over Christmas and New Year:

Table One is if your bin is emptied by Bury, Rochdale or Salford Councils 

Table Two is if your bin is emptied by Bolton, Oldham or Manchester Councils 

Booking & Contact Information

• Online Bookings: Available anytime 24/7 at www.busybins.co.uk (confirmation within one working day).
• Phone Bookings: Call 0161 766 3330, open 9:30 am to 3:30 pm (closed Weekends, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day).
• Saturday 27th Dec and Saturday 3rd Jan: Office closed, but collections will continue as scheduled.
