From sports stadiums and arenas to recreational parks and entertainment venues, these spaces generate significant amounts of waste during events and day-to-day operations. This is why waste management plays a vital role in keeping our favourite leisure spots clean and green.

Whether its the Gym or your local sports venue, without efficient waste management, these places of leisure & fun could easily turn into a waste filled nightmare!

Waste management is not just important for adults around the world, but, is crucial for children to learn. By being shown how necessary managing waste is for our planet, children can develop a true understanding of the impact that recycling and waste really has. 

So for today's lesson, we will be tossing out the textbooks & getting hands-on!

You might have heard the term 'Fast Fashion' being bashed around in the past 5-10 years, but, what is fast fashion? 

Well, it isn't where you go to a H&M Drivethru and order 3 medium jumpers with an extra large bucket hat. Fast fashion actually refers to the rapid production of inexpensive clothing that mimics the latest fashion trends...bucket hats being a prime example. 

Brands like Zara, H&M, Primark, Missguided and plenty of others have all made this model very popular by offering trendy designs at extremely low prices, but unfortunately, low prices equals low quality...meaning after a few wears it will end up thrown away & discarded on the landfill.
